Ep. 023: Let’s Be Real

We are only 2 weeks into 2021 and it has already been a year for the history books. The pandemic still rages on and now what lawmakers and news outlets can only describe as an attempted coup has taken place right here in America. To say that emotions have run high over the last few days would be and understatement. Far to often in ministry and in marriage we like to pretend that everything is just fine and we hide or bottle up our emotions and feelings. But the truth is that is neither helpful nor healthy. This week Dusty and Elizabeth talk about being real and authentic with ourselves, with our family, and with our congregations as we attempt to navigate the confusion, frustration, hurt, and fears that we are all experiencing while remembering that God is still on the throne and God is still in control.

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and join us as we discuss being real and authentic with the people around us in 2021.
